Work is complete on the construction of three industrial units at the Linstock Way Industrial Estate, creating more much-needed business space in Wigan Borough.
Construction started in September 2022 on the expansion, which will increase the number of units from six to nine, creating over 3,000sq ft of additional unit space.
One of the aims of the Wigan Metropolitan Development Company is to provide affordable industrial premises for business in Wigan Borough. These three new industrial units will help deliver this aim, expanding this accessible location for businesses and creating jobs in our borough.
Two of the new units are 1,000sq ft, with the third slightly larger at 1,200sq ft, adding to the more than 3,000sq ft of space that WMDC will let, WMDC are currently supporting more than 300 local businesses.
